Nitsaniyah Fitch is the Individual Giving and External Affairs Specialist at Openlands. She works to support Openlands fundraising efforts through focus on the annual fund, individual giving, annual appeals, cultivation events, and Openlands’ key fundraising event; the Annual Luncheon. Prior to her work with Openlands, Nitsaniyah has served as Outreach Coordinator to the Citizens Utility Board, Water Policy associate to Blacks in Green, and Environmental Policy intern to the Environmental Law & Policy Center. Nitsaniyah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy, with a specialization in Environmental Policy, and a minor in Earth & Environmental Sciences, from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Additionally, she is a certified Google Data Analyst and holds certifications from Nonprofit Ready in Fundraising Essentials, Creating a Fundraising Plan, Identifying and Cultivating Donors, and Soliciting and Stewarding Donors.
