Daniel Kuzlik is the Land Preservation Coordinator at Openlands and works with the Conservation team to support acquisition and stewardship of natural lands for conservation. Prior to his tenure with Openlands, Daniel has had significant and varied work history intersecting within the legal, environmental, and non-profit sectors; including time as a real estate legal assistant, a field geologist, an environmental testing laboratory manager, and an engineering proposal/grant writer. Daniel’s breadth of experience grants him a unique perspective on conservation impacts on real estate transaction matters and an understanding of the importance of land preservation and sustainable land use. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
