About Vollmer Road Grove

Vollmer Grove Trail is part of the Forest Preserves of Cook County and features accessible picnic shelters, making it a great destination for inclusive outdoor recreation, relaxation, and group gatherings.

This 3.6-mile heavily trafficked loop trail, located near Country Club Hills, features beautiful wildflowers and is suitable for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also welcome but must be kept on leash.

The loop trail, accessed from Vollmer Road, winds through shaded wooded areas and open green space, providing visitors with excellent opportunities to view wildlife and enjoy diverse vegetation in a natural, peaceful setting.
