Matt Ruhter is the Conservation Attorney at Openlands, and works with leadership, staff, and outside parties on legal matters that advance conservation and company success.  He has over 10 years of working at the interface of law and natural resources, where he combines a legal training with his science background.  Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology with a minor in Zoology from the University of Florida, a Masters of Arts in Biology from DePaul University, and a Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
