Tinley Creek Woods, located in Orland Park (Harlem Ave, north of W 143rd St) and managed by the Forest Preserves of Cook County, is open year-round from sunrise to sunset.

Set within a quiet natural area, this preserve offers a welcoming space for gatherings, relaxation, and time outdoors surrounded by woodlands and open landscapes.

Visitors will find a parking lot, an accessible portable bathroom (available May 1–October 31, depending on weather), and an accessible picnic grove with shelter. The grove, open May 1–October 31, offers seating for up to 250 people and is conveniently located near both parking and restroom facilities.

Tinley Creek Woods provides a simple yet scenic setting for outdoor enjoyment, from family picnics to community gatherings.

Tinley Creek Woods is not related to the Tinley Creek Trail System.
