Laura Mueller serves as the Assistant Director of Development at Openlands, bringing vast experience of leadership experience in development and communications. Before joining Openlands, Laura worked for a variety of nonprofit organizations as a board member, volunteer, and development staff. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder and two master’s degrees from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in Integrated Marketing Communications and Journalism respectively. She also has a certificate in editing from the University of Chicago.
Favorite Place to Get Outside- Laura loves walking and biking the lakeshore path and spending quiet time at the Montrose Beach bird sanctuary.
