Laura Mueller serves as the Assistant Director of Development at Openlands, bringing over 18 years of leadership experience in development and communications. Before joining Openlands, Laura worked for a variety of nonprofit organizations as a board member, volunteer, and development staff. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder and two master’s degrees from Northwestern University. She also has a certificate in editing from the University of Chicago. Favorite Place to Get Outside- Laura loves walking and biking the lakeshore path and spending quiet time at the Montrose Beach bird sanctuary.
Laura received two Master’s Degrees from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in Integrated Marketing Communications and Journalism respectively and holds a BS in Journalism and from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She has a certificate in Editing from the University of Chicago.
