Jocelyn Headshot

Jocelyn Vidal is the Birds in My Neighborhood Coordinator. She works directly with dedicated educators and volunteers in Chicago and select suburban counties to ensure the quality delivery of our BIMN program and organizes and coordinates educators and volunteers to bring the BIMN program to partner schools. Jocelyn volunteers regularly doing forest restoration for the Cook County Forest Preserves. Her love for the outdoors and conservation led her to pursue an environmentally focused education. Prior to Openlands, she worked for many years in retail and customer service. Jocelyn holds a bachelor’s in environmental science from Northeastern Illinois University.
