Ivy supports Openlands as Accounting Manager, where she oversees day-to-day accounting operations and ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and government regulations. She also helps strengthen internal controls, supports grant accounting and budgeting, and assists with audit preparation and coordination. With over six years of experience in accounting and financial management, she brings expertise in nonprofit finance, grant compliance, and financial analysis. Before joining Openlands, she worked as a Senior Assurance Associate at a public accounting firm, where she led audit engagements from financial risk assessment to report issuance. Ivy holds a master’s degree in accountancy from DePaul University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Passionate about advancing conservation through strong financial stewardship, Ivy is known for her accuracy, reliability, and collaborative approach.
Favorite Place to Get Outside: She enjoys exploring nature in the Midwest and hiking with her family on weekends.
