Directions: Saganashkee Slough is a part of the Palos Preserves along the Calumet-Saganashkee Channel. The entrance to the Slough’s boat launch is at 107th Street west of South Willow Springs Rd/104th Ave in Cook County.

Notes: This shallow slough has a surface area of approximately 380 acres. It supports a thriving fish population and attracts a variety of bird life – waterfowl in particular.
