About Camp Sullivan

An iconic red barn greets visitors to Camp Sullivan, where large groups can rent bunkhouses and families can enjoy tent camping tucked within the beautiful 612-acre Tinley Creek Woods. With access to more than 13 miles of trails, Camp Sullivan is a perfect destination for nature exploration and group gatherings. Even the barn, with a climbing wall and other adventures, is a hub of activity.

Camp Sullivan offers visitors access to the Tinley Creek Trail System and the Forest Preserves of Cook County offers free programs and gear rentals.

The paved loops of the Tinley Creek Trail System take visitors over gently rolling hills, through prairies and forests, and alongside wetlands and ravines. The trail system inlcudes a 9.4-mile paved loop as well as a 5-mile extension to Midlothian Meadow.
