About Sagawau Canyon Environmental Learning Center

Sagawau Environmental Learning Center, in southwest Cook County near Lemont, promotes the study of nature in a relaxed setting. A visitor center and classroom building opened in 2010 includes exhibits on geology, history, and habitat management. Sagawau Canyon and Environmental Learning Center are at the west end of the Palos System of the Cook County Forest Preserves, making it great to include on your visit to the area.
