Rubio Woods is part of the Forest Preserves of Cook County and features accessible picnic shelters, making it an ideal destination for inclusive gatherings and outdoor recreation.
The paved loops of the Tinley Creek Trail System take visitors over gently rolling hills, through prairies and forests, and alongside wetlands and ravines. The trail system includes a 9.4-mile paved loop as well as a 5-mile extension to Midlothian Meadow.
