Kimberly Lucas supports Openlands as the Administrative & Finance Coordinator where she provides a welcoming atmosphere as the first point of contact. With over 30 years of experience in administration, finance, and healthcare, Kimberly specializes in being dependable and an all-around administrative support. Prior to joining Openlands she worked at Mercy Hospital in Chicago as the Operations Support Coordinator in Clinical Engineering. Upon recognizing the critical maintenance and repairs that the biomed technicians performed daily, she passionately initiated information tables with the biomed technicians, as well as a walk through in the biomed shop during Healthcare Technology Maintenance (HTM) week which celebrates professionals who keep medical equipment safe.
Kimberly enjoys taking walks, organizing family events, mentoring young people at her church, and gazing at amazing nature scenes and sunsets. She majored in Office Administration at Clark Atlanta University and Business Management at Roosevelt University in Chicago.
