Anthony retired as President & Chief Operating Officer of the John Nuveen Company. Prior to that, he was director of the State of Illinois Department of Conservation. He has been involved as a member of the Openlands Board since 1976.
Anthony is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Chicago Law School. He is a trustee of WBEZ and the Newberry Library, and he is a life trustee of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
