About Hickory Grove Highlands/Lyons Prairie and Marsh
Within these sites you can rent out one of three shelters for your next event, camp in the small group campground, hike, fish, cross country ski, geocache or horseback ride. The Hickory Grove Highlands has an interpretive trail and a solar lit trail. For a new hiking experience, try hiking at night! The Lyons Prairie & Marsh has 299.5 acres and has the distinction of being named as an Illinois State Nature Preserve.
If you are up for a longer hike, there is a trail extension that will take you to the Silver Creek Conservation Area.
