Go Green Mount Prospect, a local environmental nonprofit focused on increasing sustainability efforts in the community, including expanding the use of native plants in community landscapes. They are hosting a Native Tree & Shrub Sale pickup event with people coming to pick up their preordered trees and shrubs.
In addition to the pickup, educational resources will be available for customers and anyone else who stops by to learn more about Go Green Mount Prospect, native plants, and planting and caring for trees and shrubs. This is an opportunity for residents to connect with local resources, and they’d be excited to have Openlands join to share information about our programs and resources with attendees. The event will be held outdoors, and they will provide a tent/canopy, table, and chairs for participating organizations.
