Jack assists Openlands as the Development Coordinator, where he guides on a bevy of fundraising, data, and community-building tasks. With diverse experience working in bustling, fast-paced development offices as well as out in the field at nature centers, Jack brings balanced expertise in both the business-centric and outdoor, hands-on work that Openlands champions.
Before joining Openlands, Jack worked at Northwestern University and later Emily Oaks Nature Center. His time at each helped develop his dual love of nature and the skills needed to support it professionally. Jack holds an MS in Environmental Science from Loyola University Chicago.
Favorite Place to Get Outside- Jack loves strolling the rolling, powerful shores of Lake Michigan. He enjoys all the great many parks and beaches along the coast, and can be found writing poetry, taking photos, or just simply meandering among the waves on many days.
