Lorna Bates serves as the Director of Human Resources at Openlands, bringing over 25 years of leadership experience in human resources. Prior to joining Openlands, Lorna worked as a human resources consultant for a variety of for-profit and nonprofit organizations. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science, Business Administration from Florida A&M University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Roosevelt University. She is also a Senior Certified Professional through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Favorite Place to Get Outside- Lorna enjoys daily walks with her dog, Mae, in two of her neighborhood parks, one of which is adjacent to her former grammar school.
