$150 provides a bus to the Openlands Lakeshore Preserve for a student field trip
$250 provides support for teacher orientation sessions
$500 provides support for TreeKeeper programs and TreePlanters grants to neighborhood community groups
$1,000 or more makes you a member of Openlands’ Leadership Circle, an exclusive group of supporters making an investment in healthy communities for a sustainable future
$2,500 invests in Openlands’ staff, the engine that never quits. Our experts are working on securing trail connections, organizing free paddling workshops, connecting with kids (our future environmentalists), writing policy that will stop the Illiana tollway, and much more.
$10,000 supports land acquisition. Openlands is an accredited land trust. We purchase real estate for the purpose of protecting open land from development. Currently we are building the Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge at the Illinois-Wisconsin border parcel by parcel.
