Romina Castillo

Romina Castillo joined Openlands as the School Planning Coordinator to oversee the planning process and facilitate the community engagement for Space to Grow. She brings experience in project management, community development and implementation in health initiatives. In addition, Romina’s passion for reactivating urban spaces, the outdoors, and biking has led her to dedicate free time to volunteering for organizations such as Slow Roll Chicago, serve as board member for Friends of the Bloomingdale Trail and represent the Westside at the Mayor’s Bike Advisory Council.
