Molly Kordas is the Staff Attorney at Openlands where she supports land preservation projects as well as local and region-wide policy teams. As a passionate clean water advocate, Molly works on a wide variety of issues affecting water quality and equitable access to healthy and vibrant waterways throughout the region. She also assists in working with public agencies and advocates to develop responsible transportation solutions, and advocate for a holistic approach to urban planning.
Before joining the Openlands team in 2018, Molly completed internships in the Environmental Bureau of the Office of the Illinois Attorney General and Openlands. Prior to attending law school, Molly served on the staff of a state legislator in the Chicagoland region, where she developed her interest in environmental and conservation law.
