Vice President of Development

Openlands is seeking a highly skilled individual to maintain and cultivate valued relationships with individuals and organizations who invest in Openlands’ efforts to preserve the natural open spaces of northeastern Illinois.

Stewardship Coordinator

The Stewardship Coordinator will support our work in land preservation and for properties owned by Openlands. In addition, the coordinator will be responsible for stewardship of conservation easements and for supporting the work of our restoration projects.

Grant Writer

The Grant Writer researches funding opportunities from corporate, foundation, and government grants; writes and submits proposals; manages reporting on achievement of grant requirements in collaboration with staff members; and assists in maintaining the grants calendar.

Green Schoolyards Coordinator

The Green Schoolyards Coordinator works directly with school and community members to facilitate the design and support for the ongoing use of redesigned schoolyards through Space to Grow: Greening Chicago’s Schoolyards.
