Openlands proudly welcomes best-selling author Jonathan Rosen as the keynote speaker of the 2010 Annual Luncheon. In his most recent book, The Life of the Skies, Rosen explores the significance of the timeless pursuit of bird-watching, chronicling his own birding adventures alongside those of John James Audubon, Teddy Roosevelt, and others. In the process, he discovers the interconnections—literary, philosophical, scientific, and spiritual—between life on the ground and life above. (Click on the video below to view excerpts from the John Templeton Foundation's original interview with Rosen last spring)
Openlands will also honor Wendy Paulson with the 2010 Conservation Leadership Award.
Ticket prices are $100 for individuals, $150 for patrons, and $1,500 for table sponsorships. Corporate opportunities are also available.
