Land Acquisition and Planning: Broman Park Expansion

Accomplishments

Bromann Park, located in Chicago's densely populated Andersonville neighborhood, contais a well-used neighborhood playground, and expansion of the park has been a priority of the city for many years.

So when an adjacent parcel became available for sale, Openlands Land Preservation was able to act quickly to acquire it—the site has been transferred to the city and will be developed to offer expanded park amenities.
