Reese McCormick Tree Fund

mccormickIn honor of my Bat Mitzvah, I am asking all of you, my friends, to please make a donation to Openlands, an important organization that I care a great deal about. Openlands does many positive things for all of us living in the city and beyond in the Chicago region. Whatever donation you are able to make will specifically be used to help plant new trees in Chicago's parks, parkways and other open spaces throughout our city.

Trees do so much for us - from processing pollutants and carbon dioxide, to beautifying our neighborhoods and providing shade. Trees improve the lives of everyone who shares in the urban forest, and no one helps to restore and care for our trees like Openlands. For more than 20 years, Openlands has been training volunteers to become TreeKeepers -- volunteers focused on community forestry who are planting, maintaining and monitoring trees throughout the greater Chicago region.

To contribute to this fund, please click here to return to the Openlands online giving form, and indicate "Reese McCormick Tree Fund" in the comment field. This is very important to me so that I am able to know that you helped me to support this vital organization. If you prefer to make your contribution offline, please contact the Development Office at 312-863-6263.

Thank you so much for you help.

Reese
