Supporting School Gardens in Our Communities

Openlands is offering schools in our network the opportunity to apply for a grant to support their existing school garden. Strong applications will have a plan for activating gardens to be living laboratories for students, and a space for the school to connect with their surrounding community. • $500 for supplies to support the school garden, which can be used for:
    • Plants + Seeds
    • Tools
    • Soil and soil amendments
    • Replacing old benches
    • Replacing beds
    • Supplies for activating the garden space through art, STEM, SEL, nature play
  • Optional: Openlands garden support session (e.g., garden team check ins, garden tips, hands-on garden support, etc.)
